Best Western Plus Stephenville Inn

The staff were very nice, and my room was clean, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. The outside doors slammed so hard all night that they shook the room, and there was smeared bird poop all over the windows outside. I stayed on the first floor because the elevators still weren't working after more than three months. Breakfast was just cereal at first. The warm food area was empty, though I think some hot items showed up after 9:00 am.

I had a great stay. The hotel and my comfortable room were clean, the staff were kind, and the room service was great. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. I needed change for the laundry room and met the manager, Sonia Olvera. She was great and helped me out. I'd recommend staying here.

Everything was close by, which made our family trip even better, and we all had a great time. Manager Sonia Olvera helped us check in and was so sweet and kind. The rooms were spacious and clean, with enough supplies in the bathroom, and breakfast was amazing. The room prices were reasonable, too. I'll definitely be back.

There's an awful smell in the stairwell and as you enter the first floor, though I don't know what it's from. That added to what was definitely my worst stay here. I've been traveling to Stephenville for three years as a doctoral student at Tarleton State University and have stayed at this hotel on every visit. I booked about two months ahead, then learned on arrival that the elevators weren't working and my room was on the fourth, top floor. They had no lower floor available, and refused a refund over the elevator issue. The Directv service kept cutting in and out. I'll find somewhere else for the rest of my studies, graduation plans, and future homecoming visits.
