The only decent part was the price. My room kept locking me out, and staff seemed more interested in their phones than helping. The carpet was filthy, with no sign it had been vacuumed recently. I wasn’t sure the sheets were clean, and the blanket and comforter definitely weren’t. The TV picture was really fuzzy too. Staff need better training on cleanliness and being friendly.

We’ve stayed at this Motel 6 before without problems and will definitely come back. It’s a nice place, and there’s coffee if you want it. For the lowest price around, room #133 was clean and pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the sheets weren’t wrinkled, and the heat worked well, though it only went up to 75 degrees. I’m very skinny and usually need at least 78 or more, but the bedding kept me warm. There was plenty of storage, coat hangers, soap, linen and extra toilet paper. A second waste basket would have been useful, and the bathroom sink drained poorly. I put a small tool under the stopper and got the water draining quickly. Removing the stopper or fixing the drain pulley should take care of it. Those were minor issues, and there wasn’t anything else wrong.

I stay at Motel 6 once a week, and the outside of this one didn’t look great. Once I went in, though, I could see it was being remodeled, so I didn’t hold that against them. I was told check-in wasn’t until 3 pm. Two other Motel 6 locations had let me check in at 1 pm, but I let that go too. They said I’d been given one of the newly remodeled rooms, but it had problems. The bathroom door was barely attached to its hinges, and I had to lift it to close it. The tub backed up during my shower, leaving me standing in about 2 inches of water the whole time. The heating and air conditioning unit made an awful noise all night. I probably could have asked for another room, but I was exhausted and didn’t want the hassle of packing everything again for a room that might be just as bad or worse.

The room was pretty clean, the beds were comfortable, and having a fridge and microwave was handy. There wasn’t a coffee maker. One thing in our room was a towel bar that was mostly pulled out of the wall, and there was a small spot on the floor that looked very much like blood. I’m guessing that was unusual. Otherwise, it was fine.
