Hotel Blue Top Inn

I walk my dog past my nearby storage unit every day while I pare down for a move. Twenty-eight years ago, the Blue Top Hotel looked attractive and well kept, and the grounds were nice. Now it looks like a slum. Last week, two of my dog's paws crossed onto their property while we were walking to storage. He did not pee or poop. I immediately apologized and got him back on the sidewalk, but the two owners cursed at me in another language for several more minutes. That isn't good business or neighborly behavior, gentlemen. You might want to pay attention to how you treat people.

Amy, the desk clerk, was very rude and unprofessional because of my situation at the motel. She doesn't know the whole story, so she shouldn't make assumptions or make the customer out to be the bad guy.

Do not stay here. The room was filthy, with dirty floors and dust on every surface. The microwave and fridge hadn't been cleaned, and there were long black hairs all over the shower, even though I have short blonde hair. We booked two nights but left after one, before checkout time, and still haven't gotten the refund for the second night. There were also kids running around and making noise.

We slept well and had an awesome night at the Blue Top Inn in Steven's point, WI. The rooms were clean and had fresh bedspreads, plus a microwave, electric fireplace, and refrigerator. I appreciated having Wi-Fi and television, and the morning coffee bar was a nice touch. The family-owned service made us feel at home and safe, and the price was fair. I'm a happy customer.
