The staff were really friendly, and our room was clean. Breakfast included make-your-own waffles, though the orange juice was gross. It’s an older hotel and could use new carpeting. Since they allow pets, vinyl floors would make sense. For the price and reasonable pet fee, I’d stay again.

Chris at the front desk was very nice and helpful, which I appreciated. The manager, though, gave me attitude and rolled their eyes when I tried to discuss the problems. The room was dirty, and I had to ask for fresh blankets because mine had cigarette burns. The door was coming off its hinges, so staff had to tighten the screws just to get it to shut properly. Its latch was clearly broken and secured with a makeshift piece of wood. The photos they show are very misleading, even deceptive.

The hotel is worn and could use a remodel. At the old rate, though, it wasn’t too bad, and the everyday staff have been helpful and friendly. Now I’d spend the same money at one of the newer hotels. I’ve stayed here for years and used to get good rates. During this stay, my weekly charge went from $382.95 to $536.13 without anyone telling me. They say I have a suite because this room has a couch, unlike a standard room, but I’ve had rooms with couches before and never paid a different rate. Keep a close eye on your charges.

My husband and I are crossing the country with our dog, and this has been a perfect budget-friendly stop. The staff were so friendly that I was honestly impressed. No complaints, and I’d stay again. I’m not sure what prompted the complaints in other reviews. The bed is really comfortable, the room smells clean, and my chihuahua, who hears everything, hasn’t barked once at any noise.
