Prime Place Apartments

The only good thing here is how close it is to campus. I wouldn't recommend living here. This is my second year, and I've had bad experiences from move-in onward. There's water damage in my laundry room that's caused a horrible smell since I moved in, plus cockroaches, a broken AC, a broken window, a closet rod that's broken, and a ceiling hole that went unrepaired for two months. I've contacted management many times about my problems, including multiple messages this semester that got no response. Even calling sends you to an AI bot. Parking costs $60 a month, but it's never enforced. Permits are supposedly mandatory, yet people park here during the week and walk to class, so I can't find a spot. Calling the towing company gets nowhere even though they say they'll send someone. The garages aren't monitored and have no cameras. Complaints and messages seem to do nothing. All of this is unacceptable for what they charge.

Jesse and Rachel are great, always ready to help and go above and beyond. If you're looking for student housing in Stillwater, Prime Place is definitely worth considering.

The unit was filthy when we arrived, despite the $200 move-in fee. After a ten-hour drive, we found bugs and dust everywhere, plus hair and urine on the toilet. With no cleaning supplies and no reimbursement for supplies or our time, we lost a whole day waiting for the cleaners. They still didn't do a good job, so we had to sweep, mop, and wipe everything ourselves. That was my second year with Prime Place, and I had many similar problems last year. The apartment also had no working A/C or hot water, the dishwasher was pulled out of place, and the window fell out. It was 106° outside and the unit reached 90°. The window units they provided didn't work. I was told the air-conditioning repair people couldn't come until Monday after I called Friday afternoon, even though they advertise an emergency line for A/C failures around 85° outside. I tried to raise the issues with property manager Seth, but he was rude and walked away mid-conversation. Several maintenance requests went unanswered for four days, and every time I called, I got the runaround. I don't recommend this place. Pay more rent for working A/C and hot water, a clean unit, a manager who cares and treats you well, and professional, efficient maintenance.
