Royal Palms INN

It's not a five-star place, but it's still a lot better than some places in Georgia. We had to leave another motel because of problems there. When we explained it to the front desk guy, he let my husband check the room before we paid, which was really nice. We stayed the night, and even though I don't usually like first-floor rooms, this one was very comfortable. Thank you.

The beds and pillows were comfortable, but plenty of things made this a disappointing stay. The air conditioner clunked loudly each time it started or stopped, and the curtains barely blocked the bright parking lot lights. The hard floor wasn't a big issue for me, though it didn't feel very welcoming. The bathroom tile stayed damp and slippery even before I showered, and breakfast had very few options.

I've been staying here for a few months, and the three guys at the front desk always give exceptional customer service. The cleaning attendants are friendly, too. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the area is quiet with plenty of places to eat nearby. Best place to stay in Stockbridge for the price.

We stopped for just one night and found it decent. Check-in went smoothly around midnight, and the rooms and beds were clean. It's right by the highway, with coffee shops and breakfast spots close by. There's a fridge and microwave in the room.
