California Inn

We were exhausted and just took a room, even though the staff came across as almost rude. The price was decent, but the room only looked clean on the surface and smelled bad. The shower looked nasty, and we ran out of toilet paper. We left as soon as we could after a man with a leaf blower blew dust and trash right at my husband, who was sitting on the edge of the bed with the door open.

The front desk woman was friendly, nice, and professional. My room was simple and clean, with no bugs, and the location was convenient. At $64 a night, the price was reasonable, so I can’t complain. You can’t expect Embassy Suites vibes at that rate, especially when the hotels next door are $84 plus tax a night.

There was no room cleaning service, and the rooms were dirty. We found old socks and other things under the beds, plus what looked like dry insect skin on the bed. When we complained, the manager got angry, swore at us, and started shouting. My little brother was scared. The service was horrible, and I’m never coming back.

The front desk woman was rude and tried to keep my deposit because the TV remote had no batteries. It’s a scam, the remote never came with batteries. There’s no ice machine, the AC barely worked, and the phone in the room was dead. Look elsewhere.
