Stone Mountain Manor

Stone Mountain Manor is a special place to stay, and the location is excellent, close to Stone Mountain Park and within walking distance of Stone Mountain Village. We had a comfortable room and absolutely delicious hot breakfast. Adam and his staff were attentive and went above and beyond for our family. We enjoyed Adam’s hospitality and chatting with him about the Manor and the area. We had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was simple, but I especially liked the potatoes and French toast. The house’s exterior could use some renovation, and a few pieces of furniture in our room had stains. At 70°F, the room felt cold to us, and we would’ve preferred a thermostat so we could adjust it ourselves. We ended up using pillows to cover the vents. The place is very convenient, only a seven-minute drive from Stone Mountain Park, but the price felt too high for the quality and service. We had a good stay, though I’d probably pick somewhere else next time. We needed to check in late, so I contacted them beforehand for instructions, but got no reply. I called several times, and nobody answered. The voicemail box was full, so I couldn’t leave a message. I finally reached them the morning of our booking, which was frustrating. We’d already mentioned our arrival time when booking, so we shouldn’t have had to chase them. They could simply have said in an email that the key would be left in an envelope with our name on the counter for a late arrival.

Adam’s hospitality went beyond what we expected. Stone Mountain Manor would be a lovely choice for a quiet break, a special event, or just a distinctive place to stay. We’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable visit in the Stone Mountain area.

Adam runs a great inn, and the breakfast he serves is wonderful. Staying at a bed and breakfast right next door to Stone Mountain was a great experience. It was also a nice treat to sit in the dining area at breakfast and chat with the other guests.
