We were on the second floor in room #7, a cozy, quaint, clean room with a king bed, fireplace, harbor-view balcony and a nicely sized jacuzzi tub. I'd asked before arriving whether there was a mini fridge and was told no, but one had been put in for our 4-day stay. The staff made a big difference: they helped with our bags since my husband had recently had back surgery and carrying everything upstairs, with no elevator, would've been difficult. They also gave us helpful information about the area and dinner ideas. We arrived around 2pm, and our room was ready, so check-in was quick and easy. Each morning from 8 until 10, there was a continental breakfast in a bright, airy room: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, OJ, mini croissants, muffins, danish, bagels, cereal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruit. There's a small but well-appointed exercise room downstairs, and daily maid service if you'd like it. We didn't join the nightly wine and cheese hour, though the guests who did seemed to enjoy the atmosphere and selection. We'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT and hope to return soon!

We loved everything about The Inn at Stonington, and can't wait to come back for a longer stay. We only managed one night, and our room was in the annex (#16), separate from the main Inn, which we weren't sure about at first. It turned out to be such a treat, roomy with a beautiful harbor view. Beth heard we'd arrived late and hadn't had dinner, so she brought a lovely cheese plate and soft drinks to our room. Breakfast the next morning was very nice, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. The Inn is lovely, clean and well appointed.

We celebrated an anniversary here and had such an amazing time. It's a charming house, and the service was beyond amazing. A wonderful getaway, and we hope to return. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The staff made our weekend with their helpful, friendly, charming service. Ask them for ideas on things to do nearby, and for dining recommendations and help with reservations. The inn is lovely, set in a truly picture-perfect town, and the continental breakfast came with really good pastries.

The staff were attentive and pleasant, and we had a wonderful early-Spring stay at The Inn At Stonington. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well kept, with a nice view of the water. Breakfast was a pleasant continental buffet with freshly made pastries, muffins and hard-boiled eggs. There was also a wine and cheese reception in the evening. It's an easy walk to East park at the point, and at least 4 restaurants are only a few minutes away.
