King's Pointe Waterpark Resort

The indoor waterpark kept my daughter happy for more than five hours, and it was only $8 per person. The water was clean and the lifeguards paid attention. We ate at the Regatta Friday and Saturday. Friday's princess themed dinner for her was such a good time. The staff seemed to enjoy it, other guests stopped by with sweet comments, and she got a free gift shop toy and ice cream with dinner. They even remembered us the next morning. We came for my daughter's fifth birthday and had the best weekend. Our room was nice, everything was exceptionally clean, and we saw the lobby being cleaned both mornings. I loved how deep the bathtub was. All the staff were kind and helpful, and went above and beyond to make it special for her.

The kids loved the pool, and we had a nice stay in a two queen room at shore level. The room itself was nice, though it had a lingering smell like it had once been a smoking room. We could hear other guests very easily, from kids running in the hall to people walking above us or talking next door. The walls seem pretty thin. We liked the prices, the helpful staff, and the indoor waterpark, which our kids loved. The air conditioning worked well and there were no odd smells. Some rooms have been remodeled, while others look older. The restaurant was good, though the fish and chips weren't what I'm used to: small pieces with a lot of dark batter. We'll definitely visit again.

The indoor waterpark is really nice, with three big slides, a lazy river, an obstacle course, basketball hoops, and an area for children. The rooms are spacious and up to date, and the staff were excellent. A wonderful place for families with young kids.
