The room was comfortable and clean, with a really good mattress and great water pressure. It was generally quiet at night, too. I’ve stayed at other Graduate hotels, and this one exceeded what I expected and set a high bar. It’s right on campus beside the residence dorms, with gated private parking. The place was spotless and quaint, and the decor celebrates all things UConn. The staff were both friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nicely appointed.

The lobby bar and restaurant had tasty food and drinks. Our room was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Nothing to complain about!

The location is great, and the hotel has lots of very nice Huskies memorabilia. But our room was never serviced. That morning, before we left, I told both the upstairs cleaning staff and the downstairs receptionist that we wanted it cleaned. When we got back that evening, nothing had been done, and there weren’t even clean towels. That night my husband started feeling very sick. The next morning I asked for a 2pm late checkout, and was told very coldly that it would cost extra. There was no response to my husband being ill. I think a hotel like this should hire people who show some human feeling.

No laundry facilities, and the staff didn’t offer any suggestions. There’s no ATM in the lobby either. They said the nearest one was at a CVS, which was closed. Maybe asking for cash was old fashioned. It’s a college campus, after all, so who carries cash? The rooms felt dark and dreary, with poor lighting, dated bathrooms, and no microwave. I also wasn’t sure the bathroom was clean. The app text conversations were snarky, and there was nothing extra with the reservation. Nothing. Parking costs extra, too. Very overpriced, with a bad overall vibe. Not worth it.
