Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Akron Stow

I needed a last-minute room and ended up paying $230 for one night, but I won’t be back. There was dirty water, about 2-3 inches, sitting in the tub from a leaky faucet. The sink faucet leaked and was broken too. One toilet paper roll looked like housekeeping had folded it, while the other was shredded, like an animal had chewed it. Later, other guests were screaming and fighting. The front desk said someone would come deal with it, but nobody ever did. I was extremely disappointed. I’ll take my business to the Marriott off Bridgewater or the staybridge behind the stow court house.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I took a star off service because the housekeeper kept knocking, even though I’d put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign.

I was in the area for two nights. The room was roomy, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom clean. The large walk-in shower had great water pressure.

Clean, modern place with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. I especially liked the crustless quiche. A reasonably priced hotel near Cleveland, and one I’d recommend.
