The owners welcomed us and gave us tips on local restaurants and shopping. They were friendly and honest, and it's clear they've put a lot of work into the property. We came to see Joshua at Sight and Sound theater and wanted a place that wasn't part of a chain. Everything we planned to visit in the Lancaster area was only 5 to 7 minutes away, and the theater was 5 minutes away. Booking and check-in were easy, and breakfast comes as a credit voucher for each guest at a cafe across the street. We'll stay here again next time we're in town.

We've made the drive from our home in south Mississippi, over 1000 miles, to stay here nearly every year. After three visits, my wife and I still haven't been disappointed, and I've never felt more comfortable or at home in a hotel. The rooms are spotless every time, and housekeeping does a great job making them look brand new each day. The staff are helpful and so friendly, they treat you like family. There may be fancier hotels in Amish country, but to me the carriage house is the best of the best. Its location, amenities, and price all hit the sweet spot. If you're hesitating, book it. You won't regret it.

Everyone in our group enjoyed staying at this charming, clean motel in a quaint small town, and they said they'd like to come back. We had reserved a number of rooms for our daughter's wedding over the weekend, and Tim was our contact. He was thorough and very accommodating with all our guests. Even though we were there for just one night, the service was amazing. We expected to arrive before check-in, but Tyler and the team had our rooms ready for us. The housekeepers were friendly and shared some local restaurant suggestions for dinner. It's a quaint, charming place, whether you're staying overnight or for a long weekend. I'd highly recommend it.
