Bridge Views Inn

I booked a jacuzzi room online, but was given an unfinished regular room under construction. There was dust over everything and a strong diesel smell from outside. The check-in and billing were a mess too: they didn't enter me into the computer, handed me a paper form to fill in myself, and took my card without telling me the total. Back home, I found I'd been charged more than twice what I should have paid. When I called, they said there was no record of my stay and had marked me a no-show. They also said this had happened before. I feel like they're scamming people. Don't stay here.

The room was clean and had what I needed, though the bed was only so-so. There was remodeling underway, and the hotel's interior layout wasn't great. The location wasn't very good either, and road noise went on constantly. Breakfast was extremely sparse, just coffee and waffles, and there was no bathroom in the lobby.

We were on a road trip with a friend and needed one inexpensive night in Stroudsburg. We got a great price, and the room was clean and roomy. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was better than we expected. I'd recommend it for a big family or anyone who just needs somewhere to sleep for a night.

The room felt grimy everywhere, with sticky wood surfaces, and the bathroom light only worked sometimes. The shower kept filling up with water. Outside, the construction ran from early morning until after 6 pm, and roof insulation was being thrown down while people walked past. We hadn't been told about the work before booking. Breakfast was just coffee and juice, and the office never answered when we tried to reach them. We called the owner several times and never got a call back. The staff seemed completely unaware of what was going on and didn't seem to care about our stay. The outdoor lights at night were so bright it was hard to tell day from night. This was the worst place I've stayed. Wear slippers, you don't want to catch something. Travelers, beware. You get what you pay for, apparently.
