The rooms, service, and location were nice. But that eye sore right in front of the main entrance really looks bad when you're walking up to a nice hotel. The motorcycle was leaking oil or some other dark fluid, too.

Our group of 25 rooms stayed at The Courtyard by Marriott Sugar Mountain for a work event, just three weeks after it opened. Everyone on our staff was happy with the stay, and we’re excited to have such a good new hotel in the area. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and our group definitely put the bar to the test! Tori the Group Sales Director was AMAZING. She handled everything for us and even helped when I realized at the last minute that I’d forgotten to book a room for one of our staff. We’ll use the hotel again for our next event this summer. Can't wait!

We had a few opening hiccups at this brand-new hotel, but the service more than made up for them. Our first room's air conditioning wasn't working when we checked in. The front desk handled it right away and turned a frustrating start into a good experience by proactively upgrading us to a beautiful complimentary room. Lola, Sam, Alaina, and Alandra were all amazing, accommodating, and went above and beyond to fix things. They really showed the kind of hospitality Marriott aims for. New properties are bound to have a few kinks, but with staff like this, guests are in good hands. We'll definitely come back!
