Days Inn by Wyndham Holladay

I usually don’t care for motels where the doors open straight outside, so this stay was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and comfortable, the floor was clean, and all the linens were in great shape. It was quiet too, with no shouting or doors slamming, and the front desk staff were friendly. I’d recommend it and would happily stay again.

The location works well for me, close enough to the center but tucked away from it. I’ve stayed here several times over the past few years, and the rooms have always been clean. My king room had a fridge and microwave, plenty of towels, and a nice hot shower. The coffee is good, and breakfast is a nice light option when I’m able to fit it in, though I’m usually heading out too early. One thing I’d add for a stay of a few days is a small table and another chair. The desk is handy, but a table would be better for eating or relaxing.

The service was great, and everyone was friendly. I enjoyed the stay. Just be careful with soap or shampoo in the shower, since it can get slippery, as soap often does. Thanks for a very nice visit.

From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but the room was really nice and such good value. I stopped for one night on a road trip and found it clean, comfortable, recently updated, and with everything working and looking new. It’s pet friendly too, there was a little dog with the guests a few doors down. The toilet flush was so loud it startled me every time, which was my only complaint. I’d stay here again and recommend it to friends.
