The staff did everything they could to make things comfortable, and I appreciated them moving us upstairs after the first night. The rooms were another story. In the first-floor room, noise from the lobby kept us awake, with a gap under the door, and the bartender left the bar open until 2 a.m. The automatic blinds had a broken remote and rose at 7 a.m. with no way to stop them. The second room had broken air conditioning, a toilet that wouldn't flush properly, and what looked like a blood stain on the sheets. Wi-Fi was very slow, worse than mobile data, and dropped at random. As far as I could tell, the TVs had no Chromecast or smart features. We chose the hotel partly for its laundry, but it was out of order. The staff were great, except for the bartender, though maintenance has plenty to address.

The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and they even had gluten-free cookies, which was a lovely surprise for me. We were between houses and spent three nights here to recharge. The rooms were spotless, the beds very comfortable after long moving days, and the bathroom had a spacious layout with an amazing stand-up shower. Highly recommend.

Brianna and Olivia were super sweet, but this was a horrible stay for a business trip where I needed reliable internet. It either went down or wouldn't stay connected. The Admin internet worked, but couldn't reach my second-floor room, and I was only offered access after I asked to check out. I stayed four nights, and nobody tried to address the problems while I was there. I have several text messages showing my attempts to get help. As you said, the internet issue is still a battle, and it's a big deal when traveling for business. The breakfast wasn't good. The grits were terrible, and the server was unfriendly. He brought the wrong omelet, then shrugged when I pointed it out, so I ate it rather than deal with the attitude. I didn't eat there again. The rooms were okay, but needed more attention. I took pictures of dust and dirt in several places. As a gold member, I wasn't offered anything, not even water. I'd stayed across the street at the Homewood, and that was the better choice. I won't return unless these issues, especially the internet, are addressed.

We only stayed overnight, and the weather turned worse, so we didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel. The location was handy, just minutes from shopping, restaurants, gas stations and the interstate, and the decor was contemporary. Our double-occupancy room was roomy and very clean, and the bed was more comfortable than beds I've had at some other hotels. Two room issues kept this from a four-star rating. In the first room we were assigned, most lights didn't work. In the second, the desk chair was in bad shape and needed replacing or recovering.
