Comfort Inn Aikens Center

The hotel was quiet and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. My king room had the basic Choice hotels amenities, but it could use some TLC: the curtain was torn, bathroom fixtures were tarnished, the bottom of the bathroom door was damaged and rotted, and the wallpaper was peeling, among other things. It's clean, close to the highway, and surrounded by food options within walking distance. One suggestion for staff: move the smoking area farther from the building. A guest kept using cannabis there, and the smoke was drawn into my room through the HVAC. I reported it, but was only offered a room change. That seemed odd since at least 10 rooms were above the smoking area, so I doubt I was the only guest affected. This isn't a dig at the staff, just something to consider.

There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and the rooms are clean and quiet. They serve a hot breakfast, too. Whether you're staying one night or longer, come here for a great experience. They do everything to make your stay the best it can be.

As a travel nurse, I stayed here several times during my three month contract. I tried a few other nearby hotels and was always disappointed because they were filthy. This one was VERRY clean, and the staff were kind. Conor Carter Jessie and sherlie went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. The breakfast staff were always kind, and the food was great. My favorite rooms were 309 and 417. The AC is amazing, though I like my rooms frigid and set it to meat locker as soon as I arrive. Once it was acting funky, but staff came right away to check it and offered another room while they fixed it. If you're a night shift traveler, do yourself a favor and avoid the 1st floor. It's a busy hotel; the staff are quiet and courteous, but guests are doing guest stuff :)

Good location, clean hotel, and very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely visit again.
