Graham and Brenda are warm hosts, happy to answer questions about the area. This old boarding house is quiet, quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, and it’s not fancy.

I called numerous times afterward and could never reach anyone, so we never stayed. I’d tried to reserve all the rooms for an off season wedding weekend, but they couldn’t confirm availability, take a booking, or help with anything. This was nine or ten months ahead, and they sent me to book online, but that didn’t work. I’m not sure this is a real B & B. Quite unfortunate.

The rooms, people, and food were all nice when I stayed here a while ago, and I enjoyed it. My parents enjoyed their stay too when I sent them here. It’s a very nice place, so go ahead and book a night or two with confidence.

A good choice if you’re watching your budget. The accommodations were comfortable, and the drive to Edenton wasn’t bad at all. The hosts were amazing, really friendly and interesting to talk to. I’d definitely recommend it.

Listen, it was so hot inside that there clearly wasn’t central air. The bed was an air mattress, and another air mattress, and another air mattress! The bathroom was down the hall. When we drove up, I thought Leatherface himself might come greet us in the yard. Needless to say, we left and didn’t stay. Go at your own risk. This is the whole truth, so help me God!
