MIAMI O. Reserve Luxury Condos

After I landed in Miami, I found out that my reservation had been cancelled and given to someone else, less than 24 hours after the first email about a failed payment. The cancellation came without proper acknowledgement. My bank said there were no pending charges it had declined. Having no place to stay when I arrived was a major inconvenience. The manager on duty was extremely unhelpful and rude. She hung up on me, then blocked my number when I tried to reach her again. Both the bank and different managers said the hotel/host was at fault for denying the payment. I'm extremely dissatisfied and won't use this service again or encourage anyone else to use it.

We had the same booking experience as Karly in the comment below. Our stay was cancelled just two nights before arrival over a supposedly declined card. I checked to rebook the apartment about 30 minutes later, and it was no longer available. My bank confirmed there was no block and the card was fine, and said the problem was on the hotel's end. From 7am to 11am, just 30 minutes after the cancellation, I called at least 20 times, left a voicemail, emailed, and texted, but no one answered. When I finally reached someone, they said there was nothing they could do because cancellations were automated. Customer service was terrible. Since it was Memorial weekend, finding an affordable place at short notice was extremely difficult, and we nearly had to cancel the whole trip. Save your energy and book somewhere else.

I had a reservation for Thanksgiving weekend for weeks. On travel day, the manager called to say they would be waiting for me and that I had to pay $365.00 in cash. She followed up with a text and a picture of the bill. When I questioned the cash payment and whether my $150.00 deposit would be returned, she said yes. I also asked why I had to pay for parking when I wouldn't use their parking, and she said it was obligatory. Then, after I arrived in Miami, I got a text from this lady with a poor English accent saying my reservation was cancelled because my room wasn't ready. That's a poor excuse. I contacted Travelocity around 9:30pm, and they tried to reach the property about my refund, but nobody answered. Based on how they operate, this property is a scam and needs to be exposed. Travelocity said they'd stay in touch, and I expect an answer within 24 hours. Sunny Miami Vacation, I have every text, and I'll expose you. Expect authorities at your door for asking customers for cash and not charging tax.

The neighborhood is beautiful, and the building is very nice. Our apartment was super clean, and the pool was great. It was outdated, though, which was the one thing I didn't like. Overall, I had a great stay.
