The room was spacious, but that was about the only good thing. My first room had a loose door handle and a lock that didn’t work, so I moved. The next one had rusty fixtures, dirty walls, and what looked like two dead ants on the mattress. Everything felt dated, the lighting was bad, and there was noise from outside. I had a bite on my back, though I didn’t see any bed bugs. Breakfast was a joke. I won’t come back, and I’d find another hotel.

We checked in to watch the Super Bowl, but the game was only in Spanish, and we speak English. The room had cockroaches, bugs on the window sill, a leaking shower head, very low water pressure, a broken AC unit, dirty curtains, a barely cool refrigerator, bad floors, a dead room phone, broken furniture, and a mattress that seemed at least 20 years old. There was trash under the stairwell, too. I raised all this with the front desk. Some lights and outlets worked, but that was about it. They offered a discount on a future stay. I’ll never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it. The place is trashed.

I appreciated how personal the service felt. The manager is often at the counter and usually checks whether I’m satisfied. The staff are courteous and helpful, and my room was both clean and spacious. I really enjoyed staying here.

The rooms were clean, but the outside areas were full of litter, from the flower beds to the parking lot. Renovation work also made it noisy in the rooms during the day. The contractors didn’t clean up well, and I found a nail and screw near my car. They even left a ladder leading up to the second-floor roof, which felt unsafe. We also lost water pressure while we were there. I would not recommend this place.
