The place looked nice, but someone walking around upstairs at 2 o’clock in the morning made the whole ceiling pop and crack loudly enough to wake us up.
The loft was extremely dusty, and the steps up to it were dangerously steep. The whole place smelled like stale nicotine smoke, including the beds, pillows, and sheets. It wasn’t wildfire smoke. The plugs were worn out and anything we tried to plug in fell out. We were extremely uncomfortable and disappointed, and the place lacked basic comforts. We cut our vacation short, with no offer of compensation from the company. We won’t stay again.
The units are small, though the lower price makes that easier to accept. I liked the development's no-smoking policy, too. It's tucked away about a mile from the formal "Sunriver" village, which was a good bit of distance from the craziness for me. The spot itself is across from a USPS, on a pretty ordinary road lined with commercial buildings.
The place itself is nice, but with no air conditioning it was a horrible stay. Nothing in our reservation mentioned that, and I wouldn't have booked if I had known. Above the thermostat there's a note saying most places here don't have AC, but that doesn't match what I heard from my family in the area, whose condo and house rentals all have it. We were so disappointed, and I won't recommend this place.
We just got here and it's 90 degrees outside. We're on the second floor with no AC, ceiling fans, or room fans provided. Who rents out condos in this heat without even supplying a fan? I'm completely dissatisfied, won't come back, and can't recommend it.
