My friends stayed here, though I didn't, so this is based on what they told me. They were hoping for a better stay, but it's a low-budget, mom-and-pop motel, not a hotel chain. Keep that in mind.

We had a blast at karaoke night and made some great memories. At Anchor Motel they treated us like family, and I really like the atmosphere. The beach is only a short walk away, and the prices are reasonable. They're renovating right now, and the owner and manager are doing their best to make guests feel welcome and at home. We're grateful for the stay and will be back soon.

The staff were polite and very helpful, and the beach was only a two-minute walk away. The rooms were OK and the location was great. My daughter and I had a beautiful time, and we'd definitely come back next summer to make more memories.

Great location, but one of the worst rooms I've stayed in. It was dirty and broken, there was no hot water, and the bathroom door was rotted. And that's not all.

It's so close to the beach but still relatively peaceful, and everyone is friendly. People leave each other's things alone, too. This is my favorite motel for a beach stay, and the staff are especially cool and welcoming.
