Country Club Villas

First time staying here, and we had a great week. The one-bedroom layout was nice, the place was clean, and the staff were great. We also got a really good rate, so we'd definitely stay again if we needed a place. Our only gripe was the irritating exhaust from a couple of vehicles at the condos next door. It had nothing to do with our rental.

The property was so quiet and peaceful, and the location put us right in the middle of everything. If you need something or want a tip on the best local spots, the staff will point you in the right direction. They go above and beyond to make your stay what you hoped for and more. Can't wait for my next visit.

The staff were friendly and quick to respond whenever we reported a problem, and the unit had useful amenities like a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and TVs in every room. The hot water worked really well, and the area was quiet. The pool and hot tub were nice to have, though the hot tub could've been warmer. It may be kept around 98 for guests' comfort and safety. We got the free weekend as a Capital Vacations incentive. On arrival, there was a cockroach on the floor, and there was debris on the floors and bedding. The office sent the cleaning crew in while we were out, but the floors still felt gritty afterward. The dishes had food on them, and the bathtub drain was clogged with hair and debris so badly that the stopper wouldn't fit. The door frame showed water damage and looked painted over. The check-in directions said the Wi-Fi password would be on the fridge or router, but neither had it. That wasn't a major issue, just something to mention. The A/C wouldn't go below 72, which made sleeping difficult. We had a place to sleep and the staff tried to put things right, but the contractors need better quality checks. Their work reflects badly on a kind, responsive staff.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and our three-bedroom, two-bath Spanish villa was clean and in good shape. We had six adults and plenty of room. There was a TV in every bedroom and in the living room, plus a full-size washer and dryer. Bugs can be an issue in a coastal climate, but we didn't see any in our unit. We'd love to come back soon.
