Talkeetna Denali View Lodge and Cabins

The fresh, homemade breakfast was wonderful, and Dawn is a thoughtful host who really knows the area. The inn is fantastic, about 20 minutes from downtown and not too far from Denali Brewing. Our room was incredibly comfortable. I almost hesitate to praise it too much in case it gets hard to book a room, but Dawn deserves the support and business.

The room was private, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also got full breakfast spreads tailored to our dietary needs, plus great advice on local sights, businesses, and restaurants. Had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone going to Talkeetna.

We stayed in the Denali Room, and the views were perfect. The lodge felt warm and homey, and the host was welcoming and knew a lot about the surrounding area and other parts of Alaska, since she’s from here. Breakfast had a great variety and was exceptional. Brooks, the little Bichon, was the sweetest, gentlest, best-mannered dog. We can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast was ready each morning, and the lodge was clean throughout. We had a lovely three-night stay, with welcoming hosts and a handy location near Talkeetna. If we're back in Talkeetna, we'd happily stay here again.
