I spent four days here for work and didn’t have a single complaint. It’s an inexpensive motel that’s clean, quiet, cozy, and smells good. The people are nice, and there’s a great local grill just 100 ft. from my room. It’s kid-friendly, and pets are welcome for a few bucks. I’ve read some of the negative reviews, but I don’t know those people or the owners, and I didn’t see the problems they described.
Nothing fancy, but the rooms were decent and fairly spacious, and the price was alright. The staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was probably the best part, with all-you-can-eat eggs, waffles, sausage, biscuits, muffins, and more. No complaints from me.
I’m still staying here, but this will be my first and last visit. I was glad to see how spacious the room was when I walked in, then after an hour I was disgusted by the dirt. There was dog hair all over the bed, so it didn’t look like the sheets had been washed. The comforter had several crusted stains and blood marks along the side, and there was a blood stain on the wall. I also found a decent-sized spider right by my head. When I walked into the bathroom barefoot, dust and who knows what else stuck to the bottoms of my feet. I can put up with little things, but unwashed sheets are extremely disturbing. I’m upset that I can’t get a good night’s rest in this room. I’ll call management and/or corporate tomorrow, and stick to La Quinta from now on.
The room was freezing when we got there around midnight on a very cold night. It felt like maybe 40 degrees, and took forever to warm up to a tolerable temperature. The blankets were thin and didn’t do much to keep us warm. We’d booked a king bed online, but were told none were available when we arrived. The front desk clerk was unfriendly at check-in and again when we checked out. There wasn’t enough breakfast seating, so we skipped it. After ice formed overnight, nobody had treated the sidewalks or steps. I won’t stay here again.
I felt overcharged at more than $70 a night for such a nasty place, run by people with the driest, most monotone personalities. The carpets were sticky and had a few stains, and the bed had black scuffs and clear stains all over it. There were scuffs across the walls and doors too. For $35, I might have thought it was worth the money, but I could’ve paid $10 more and gone somewhere better. I took lots of pictures.
