We spent our last two nights in Glacier here after camping at Fish Creek Campground and St. Mary's campground. Having driven to trailheads every day, we really appreciated being so close to the Many Glacier hikes. If you want to cook for yourself, there’s a picnic area directly across the street. We also enjoyed the cafe breakfast. It was tasty and good value, with vegan and vegetarian choices to fuel a big hiking day. The staff were very friendly, and the shower had hot water and great pressure. Free ice and paid laundry on site were nice extras. I’d recommend adding a stay here if you’re tent camping most of the trip. It’s a nice little treat. The room gets 3/5 from me. There weren’t many outlets, which was tough after six days of camping and lots of things to charge. Wi-Fi was only in the lobby, and after 3 p.m. it got too crowded to use. I couldn’t even download a podcast.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but Kaitlyn and the other staff were so helpful that we wished we had. After several days of searching for wildlife without luck, we’d already asked rangers, guides, and locals. We knew sightings were hit or miss. Kaitlyn took out a map and suggested several places to try, and she was so pleasant about giving us hiking and dining tips. Following her advice, we safely saw some memorable wildlife and went on several beautiful hikes. The hotel sits in a picturesque spot in Many Glaciers, with plenty of nearby trails if you’re hoping to see wildlife. Its general store has a huge selection of snacks and souvenirs at reasonable prices. Even if you don’t stay, the location is well worth the drive.

I chose a cabin so I’d be right by the Ptarmigan Tunnel/Iceberg Lake trailhead at sunrise for a 15-mile hike. It was just what I needed before that long, magnificent day out. The small bed was comfortable, and I slept like a baby. This review is about the cabins, not the Inn. There’s a sink, but no private bathroom or shower, and there’s no Wi-Fi except at the visitor center. I knew that before booking and didn’t mind; it worked out great. You don’t need to be plugged in here. Many Glacier, in my opinion, is the most beautiful section of Glacier National Park, with beautiful, quiet scenery, abundant wildlife, and plenty of nearby trailheads from easy to difficult. It was comfortable for me and definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.

The rooms are sparse, to say the least, and the bed could be much better, but we enjoyed the overnight stay. The food was good and the service fairly decent for what it is. We’ve stayed in similar rooms and eaten at a similar food and store operation run by the same provider at the nation’s first national park, and this experience was better. They say there’s no public Wi-Fi, but it worked well as long as you were inside the building.
