Rodeway Inn

A winter storm led to an unexpected stay, and we were glad to find the suite so clean and suitable for a family with kids. Breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. We'd recommend staying here. You'll enjoy it!

On the morning of 12/14, our breakfast server was so friendly and kept the area spotless. Mellisa was also amazing when she checked us in on 12/13, a blizzard night we hadn't expected. We were really grateful for her help. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

The site said the pool would be closed for remodeling until January 31st, but when I arrived on February 9th it was still out of service. I got a message before arrival saying I'd been upgraded as a Diamond member. If a couch is what makes the room an upgrade, that doesn't count for me. There's no bar or restaurant here either. I would've been better off, and paid less, at the IHG Holiday Inn across the street.

This Holiday Inn Express is below average, which for a hotel means bad. The location is terrible, in a dumpy area with constant loud traffic. Parking is awful because it's shared with a strip mall and restaurant. My first room, the one they gave a Diamond member, had a clogged sink and smelled like animals. The ice machines and lobby hot water were all marked out of order. Breakfast was poor, with many items missing compared with other Holiday Inn Express locations. The single elevator is painfully slow, and because of the neighborhood you need your key to reach the upper floors, like you're in some swank place. This is the second-worst Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at, after Durham, NC, where police woke me at 2:00 a.m. This one really is below average. Stay at Hampton up the road.
