Mother Nature's Inn

A lot of the reviews seem pretty harsh to me. This is a cozy motel room with a TV that has all the streaming services, a mini fridge with a little freezer section, clean sheets and towels, and even a bag of microwave popcorn with the tea and coffee. You can make the room really cold by adjusting the AC settings. It’s right in the middle of what I think is the best town on Lake Tahoe, with several restaurants, Safeway, and two convenience stores within walking distance. Just remember that everything costs more in one of the most beautiful places in the US. We’ll stay here again next time.

Mother Nature’s Inn was a relaxed, charming place for our one-night stay, and especially convenient with a dog. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had lots of personality. Rosie’s Café is next door, where we had an amazing breakfast, and there’s a dog park right behind the inn for some playtime. The lake is just across the street, too. If you’re passing through Tahoe City and want somewhere friendly and welcoming for pets, this is a great spot.

After a full day of skiing, it was only a 15-minute drive back to Tahoe City. We loved being able to sit outside our room in the enclosed hallway, where there were chairs and a little table, and watch the sunset. The room was large, with plenty of storage, and the bed was super comfortable. The treats and snacks they left in the room were much appreciated. Once you’re at Mother Nature's Inn, you don’t need to drive around town, everything is close and easy to walk to. It was our first stay and just what we expected. We absolutely loved it and will be back.

The location is really perfect, with everything walkable, so you can leave your car parked. Parking was a pain, though there is parking very close by, so it worked out. The room was hot when I arrived, but I figured that out too. By the end of my three days, I’d gotten used to it and would come back. Thank you, Mothers Nature!
