Red Carpet Inn Takoma Park

The cleaning was superficial and they didn't disinfect. The sheets were stained, the beds old and uncomfortable, and the walls looked dirty. Their website says pets are welcome, so I brought mine and let them know. They'd made an advertising mistake, then charged an exorbitant fee. I had no way to leave or find another hotel because I was traveling for a family emergency, and I felt they took advantage of that.

The room smelled, there was mold on the ceiling above the door, cigarette burns on the floors and tubs, a pubic hair on my pillow, and a long hair in the clean folded towels. The pictures online looked nothing like the room I got. It was the dirtiest place I've ever stayed, and the employees were extremely rude. I paid online for two nights, but they refused a refund. Since it was late, I stayed the first night and asked the next morning to check out and get a refund for the second night. They refused again, so I checked out and lost my money. This place deserves a zero.

The hall and room were dirty, especially the floor, and the sheets were covered in hair. I had no choice but to sleep like that that night. I couldn't believe it. Never again, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The staff were so kind, the rooms gorgeous, and breakfast was magnificent. The atmosphere was beautiful, there were no bugs, and I loved the hot tub and all-inclusive sauna. Honestly, impeccable. I'd live here. Great value for the money, I recommend it.
