AC Hotel Tampa Airport

The 24-hour gym was a big surprise, with plenty of space to move around, and it opens right by a gorgeous outdoor pool. I also loved the tea selection and the hot and cold water near check-in. We arrived late, but the place still felt calm and welcoming. My room was roomy and cozy, with a very comfortable bed. I slept like a queen. It worked especially well for meeting up with local friends, since parking is free for up to a week and there's a complimentary airport shuttle both ways.

I used a day pass while waiting for an evening flight. They held my luggage and run a free shuttle to the airport twice an hour. There are several places to eat and a mall nearby, too. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool had lots of towels, and there was complimentary coffee and water, plus a self-serve snacks and bar area on an honesty basis.

At an event in the lounge last night, server Amaya charged my card twice. I showed her my account, and she acted as if she'd sorted it out, but then charged it a third time and reversed that third charge, making it look like the original mistake had been refunded. I'm done with this place. Now I have to dispute all the charges through my bank. smh

The service is always wonderful, and the hotel is consistently neat, clean, and organized. I'm never disappointed. Amaya deserves a special mention for going above and beyond with her customer service today. Thank you, Amaya. Your kindness really rubs off on people!
