The location is handy for RJS, and there are plenty of surrounding businesses for the price. Valet staff were helpful and friendly, the rooftop restaurant had a great feel, and the lounge bar was a fun spot with friendly bartenders. The elevator needs a key card for guest floors. There were plenty of problems in the room. Crumbs covered the nightstand, and the sheets had brown stains that looked like old blood. Housekeeping came once in four nights, took the used towels, and left just one large towel and a small floor towel. I only noticed after showering. The shower is outside the bathroom behind glass, while the toilet has a sliding door and no fan, so there's no privacy and you can hear everything from the bed even with the AC on. Our window looked straight out onto a balcony full of AC units. At check-in, they required a card for $50 a night in incidentals, supposedly refunded seven days after checkout. The lounge pool table was battered and poorly maintained, with bent cues and pockets falling out. Knowing this now, I'd stay one night for the location and then move elsewhere.

Valet was easy and stress-free from beginning to end thanks to Anthony and Carlos. They were both courteous, efficient, careful with everything, and incredibly professional and helpful. Great service!

Silvia and Cintia made breakfast one of the best parts of our stay. They were attentive, friendly, and took great care of us every morning. The food was fresh and delicious, honestly a 20/10. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and making the stay even better!

David at the front desk was charismatic, kind, helpful, and professional the whole time. A real example of hospitality. I had a great stay at Aloft Midtown Tampa: the location was central and convenient, the room clean, and the amenities excellent, especially the rooftop pool and bar.

Breakfast felt like a lovely start to my day because of Silvia, Yanela, Isel, and Cintia. They were welcoming and attentive, and made me feel comfortable and appreciated from the moment I came in. Their patience, smiles, and teamwork really stood out. They prepared my food with such care and kindness. You can feel the love they put into their work. Thank you, ladies, for making my morning better. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed.
