Emerald Greens Hotel Condo Resort

Having the pool, splash pad, and playground right there made a huge difference with our two kids. We also got to know some of the full-time residents, who were genuinely welcoming, and made a few real friendships during our stay. We needed a place for a couple of summer months while our house was being finished, and found Emerald Greens through the head of membership at Carrollwood Country Club. David made arranging everything easy from the beginning. He even offered a discounted pet-friendly option when we thought our dog might come along, though in the end that didn’t work out. The condo was comfortable for a longer stay. It wasn’t especially trendy or newly updated, but it had lots of space, a very large master suite, a guest room just as big, and TVs in every room. The kitchen had what we needed to live there for a couple of months. Golfers have the driving range and clubhouse just across the parking lot. We often walked over to Carrollwood Country Club for dinner, drinks, or live music, and the food and cocktails were consistently fantastic. Emerald Green is more about comfort, convenience, and community than flashy luxury. For a family stay with easy access to golf and the club, we had a 10/10 experience.

Vossi, our concierge, went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We loved the dinner at Clubhouse Grille, especially the Prime Rib night, and the price was very reasonable. The golf course has 27 beautifully maintained holes, and the condos feel like home, with full kitchens and screened porches. We also appreciated that the condos allow pets, since our plans changed and we had to bring our dog. The wedding we attended was set up beautifully on 18 green.

We played the Stay & Play golf package across all three courses, and they were all good. The resort feels more like a proper condo than a hotel room, with a full kitchen and an oversized king bed. I love this place.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the beds were really comfortable, and it was quiet. The manager was also very nice and helpful. There’s a nice pool and splash pad, though I wish the pool decks were cleaned at night so bark and leaves were cleared away. The coffee pot was the only item in the room, and it had grounds spilled inside. In the master shower there was nowhere to set soap or shampoo, so we used a soap dish from the vanity in the back corner. The location was handy for Bush Gardens and the zoo, with several restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Thanks for a great vacation stay!
