Quality Inn Busch Gardens

I paid an extra $18 for breakfast that wasn't available. The clerk said they hadn't had breakfast since Covid, and I'll never use Super and Trivago again. I'll stick with Expedia. The hotel was a dump, without even a trash container in the room. I suppose the whole room could count as a trash pail. The bedspread had cigarette burns, so much for non-smoking.

The staff were polite, which was about the only bright spot. The beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable, and the room was filthy. It didn't look vacuumed recently, there were cobwebs on the ceiling, mold around the bathtub, hair still in the tub, and a filthy shower curtain. The hand towel was stained, there was no toilet paper holder, and the smoke detector was missing. Several bulbs were missing or didn't work. It was bad enough that I called my airline in the middle of the night to change my flight to the earliest one so I could leave. I didn't expect much for the price, but I did expect better than disgusting.

We were in the room less than five minutes before calling around and finding somewhere else to stay. First a roach ran across the room, and there were burn holes in the curtains and a missing lightbulb. The hallway wall looked like it had blood smeared on it, and the parking lot looked like something from Cops. Walking in, we wondered what the hell we'd booked. Absolutely disgusting. Save yourself and don't book here.

We came for a last-minute Gasparilla trip. The customer service and location were great. The room was a little dirty, but the beds were super clean and I slept comfortably. No loud noise, and security seemed fine.
