Someone downstairs had music blaring in the middle of the night, and the sound carried into the rooms. The elevator was out, and the guy didn’t know what to do, then accidentally locked himself in the room next to it. I had to carry our bags down the stairs. I wouldn’t recommend this place or stay again.

The room was surprisingly clean and spacious, especially since the reviews had left me expecting less. There’s a drinking water dispenser at reception, and parking is free. The airport is a 26-minute walk away, while the beach takes about 20 minutes on foot. Highly recommended.

I’m done with this hotel and its service. I went in person to book, and the employee helping me blocked a room that was still being cleaned and told us to come back before 3. I called around 1, but the day-shift employee booked it for someone else despite the block. It was frustrating to deal with, especially when the employee complained about having gone through a typhoon. So had I, and I have kids, which is why I needed a room. We walked in and got no customer service at all. If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give.

I haven’t stayed yet, but I’ve emailed four times and called twice over the past two months to ask about an airport shuttle. I’m still waiting for confirmation. The service feels lax, and now I’m nervous about what else I might run into. I’ll probably cancel.
