The room was a major disappointment for my wife and me, though Justin, Charlie, and Helen were shining stars. Each was professional and helpful, and they made us feel welcome. I’d give all three five stars if I could rate them separately. We’ve stayed at this location several times over the years, before our disabilities, and those visits had been good. This time, the accessible room we were given was an event room set up with a Murphy bed. It met the letter of accessibility, but little beyond that, and we were told no other accessible room was available. The bed was so low that EMTs had to come the next morning to help lift us. With a regular king bed at the usual height, that would not have been needed. Staff said Marriott employees couldn’t assist because of liability. The reservation made through the 800 number was confirmed to me by email, but apparently hadn’t been sent to the hotel. I called the night before to check and spent an inordinate amount of time on hold before being told it was worked out. Given our experience, I’d suggest considering other hotels if you have similar needs.

Besnik makes the bar at the Teaneck Marriott feel relaxed and comfortable, while still giving the experience a little polish. He clearly takes pride in his work and enjoys it, and every drink is made with care and consistency. His recommendations are always on point, and even when it’s busy he keeps things moving smoothly while making people feel welcome. Friendly, attentive, and professional, he’s one of the best bartenders I’ve come across and a real asset to the hotel. I’d happily return, and recommend stopping by to sit with him.

I’ve been a flight attendant since 1989 and have stayed in plenty of different hotels. My crew and I come to the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe regularly, sometimes for weeks at a time, and I’d even drive an hour back here if we landed our jet in Long Island for three or more nights. I feel at home because of the smiles and kindness from all the staff. The food is excellent at breakfast and dinner, and the rooms are clean, nice, and comfortable. I also love having access to the full-size gym and the attached Starbucks. I value a kind, friendly welcome when I’m away from home, and the way we’re treated here makes those stretches away much more pleasant. I’ve stayed in luxurious, upscale hotels, but their service and kindness don’t compare with what we always get at the Teaneck Marriott. I appreciate it so much.

My favorite Marriott in New Jersey. I travel a lot for work, and it’s always a pleasure to stay here. Siddarth and Justin at the front desk made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Management deserves credit for hiring two exceptional hosts. They’re both superstars. Thank you!
