It’s a cheap room, but old and run down, and you don’t get anything beyond the room itself. No ice, coffee, snacks, drinks, or hair dryer. The toilet kept running, just like it did when we stayed a little over a month ago. There were fewer than 5 vehicles in the lot, yet no double bed rooms were available, and somehow we got the same room again. Next time we need a room, I’d rather compare with the cheapest good option in Adrian. It’s worth paying the difference. I think this place should be $50-$55 a night, just my opinion. I wouldn’t run the business the way the owner does, since I’d want guests to have those amenities. Still, I survived without a hair dryer. Lol.
The new owners seem to be working on rebuilding the place, and the dimmable lights were a big plus. Having a Jacuzzi in the room was nice for our one-night stay. I barely slept, though, because a dog barked all night, even with plenty of white noise. I’d try staying here again, but only well away from other guests with their pups.
Tom was super helpful and accommodating, and our rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s close to downtown, restaurants, bars, and a grocery store. I’d definitely stay here again!
The room had been updated and looked nice, and it was clean, but the bed was extremely hard. There were only two really flat pillows, and no chair except a hard metal desk chair, so we had to sit on the hard bed. The TV was the smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel room, and there wasn’t even a vending machine for a simple drink. Our towels and washcloths were stained and dirty. The older man who lives here and works in the office wasn’t friendly at all. This place was not worth $111.00.
There were five dead flies on the bathroom counter and a dead cockroach on the floor when we walked into the room. It isn’t clean here, and this is not a $111 dollar room. At most, it should be $60. The heat does work.
