We liked visiting so much over the past few years that we decided to buy a residence. The location is perfect, a 1 minute walk to the ski lift or bike path, seconds from great restaurants and shops, and 2 minutes from the gondola over the mountain to Telluride, with even more dining and shopping. There's no need for a rental car, since they'll collect you from the airport and take you back, and everything else is walkable. From the moment we arrive, the staff make things easy. AJ and/or Bubba pick us up at the airport, get us checked in, and help with our luggage. The concierge has found us last-minute reservations and adventures most people don't know about. Chantry in Owner Services once told us about a rare dinner opportunity at the top of the mountain, reached by a snow pusher rig, though I'm not sure what that machine is actually called. The housekeeping team, spa staff, and everyone at the Fairmont have always been kind and professional. My children love the game room, the pool in summer, and borrowing sleds in winter. We absolutely love the Franz Klammer Fairmont and would recommend it to anyone.

The residences are lovely, with comfortable leather couches and a pretty fall Aspen leaves pattern in the carpet. The dishwasher is raised to waist height, and you can crank open the alpine windows for fresh air. There are big tubs and steam showers, too. The bellmen unload your car in the garage and park it for you, and the concierge helps plan fun things. The Klammer sits right in the middle of mountain village, near skiing and markets. At the plaza entrance there are a fire pit, food carts, coffee shops, little gondolas to sit in with your family, bars, and live music.

The mountain setting is magnificent, and the staff are what make the place. Renovations are underway, so visitors should know about that, but the team will do everything they can to make your trip perfect.

Steve was on time and friendly as our driver. The room felt elegant, cozy, and comfortable, and the location, amenities, and service were all perfect.

Kelly in concierge helped us out a lot on several occasions, and I especially want to thank her. Registration and transportation were also a big help throughout the trip, since we didn't have a car. Thanks to Taylor, Colleen, Will, Mike, Titus, and Jonathan. The mid-stay cleaning crew was great, too. Chantry, Josh, McKaila, and Kira in Owner Services went over our schedule for the next stay and helped with choosing dates. Friends who visited for a few days also remarked on how excellent and friendly the service was throughout the facility.
