The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection, and the staff were so helpful. The Black Tie guys in the Ski VALET would bend over backwards to help with anything. Our room and the Residences were wonderful, and the service throughout our best five days at Lumiere was impeccable. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The accommodations, restaurant, and staff were all excellent. The one thing that wasn’t amazing: housekeeping wouldn’t loofa my back and got really annoyed when I kept asking. So, everything else was great, but I went a week without being exfoliated.

We got there at 11 am, three hours before the 2 pm check-in, and all of our rooms were ready. They still wouldn’t let us in unless we paid almost the cost of an extra night. Greedy hotel.

Our two balconies had stunning views, and the suite was spacious, quiet, beautifully furnished, and full of luxurious touches. It didn’t face the ski slopes, which suited us much better. We had a memorable stay. High-end luxury stays can feel intimidating when you’re new to them. We’ve felt that discomfort at other places, even here in Telluride, but not this time. The manager welcomed us warmly and immediately put us at ease. She graciously answered all our questions and concerns, even the silly ones. Every other staff member gave us that same comforting hospitality.
