Best Western Country Inn

The room was roomy and clean, and parking was easy. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, plus a nice breakfast option. I got in early after rain cut my workday short, and the staff had no trouble checking me in ahead of time. Just a one-night stay, but a good one.

The breakfast was a bright spot, especially making my own waffle, though you’ll want some time for it. Getting checked in took ages, even after doing it online, and the internet was painfully slow. But the beds were the dealbreaker for me. The mattresses felt flat, with springs poking through, so I barely slept. The carpet also seemed so dirty that I wouldn’t go barefoot in the room. It’s a bare-minimum place, and I wouldn’t return. If convenience and a low price are what matter most, it could work. For anyone who cares a lot about a comfortable bed, I’d skip it.

The room was spacious, with a very comfortable sofa, a microwave, and a freezer. The bathroom was good and the water stayed warm. There’s also a pool, jacuzzi, and laundry, and the place felt quiet and safe. I only wish there had been extra blankets in the room. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were wonderful. I’d definitely come back.

The location was nice, but the room made us uncomfortable enough that we left and went home instead of staying the night. The door looked damaged and insecure, like it could be broken into easily, and the shampoo and lotion bottles were dirty. The room itself felt unclean too. For nearly $200 for one night, I expected much better than a room that looked like a Motel 6. I’m disappointed and hope they address these problems so guests don’t feel they wasted their money.
