The wines were the main reason we stopped in, since we're thinking of booking an event here and wanted to try what might be served. Big Nose Winery won me over on Viognier, even though it's usually not my kind of wine, and we enjoyed every red we sampled, including Cabernet, Malbec, and Tennat. The grapes come from around California, but the wines are made right here. Delicious stuff. Wayward Hope was playing while we visited, and they were fun to listen to. Roger and Janice made us feel so welcome. We'll be back soon.

If you're into history, this is a must-stay. The owners know loads about the place, and the back garden and dining room have even more antiques and history to explore. It's right in the heart of Old Town Temecula, just half a block off main (Front) street, which may make it a little quieter. The rooms are small, and you may have to share a restroom, but there's so much period furniture and so many stories here. It really gives you a taste of the late 1800s Wild West, in a neat old hotel.

Richard and Chris made this stay for us. They were incredibly accommodating and knew so much about the hotel's past and the history of Temecula. The rooms were like stepping back in time, unlike any hotel we've been to, and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The place is an experience in itself, and I'd stay more than one night to take in everything the hosts and hotel have to offer, along with town a block away. Old 395 is a block down, full of restaurants, shops, and bars, and the location couldn't be better. This was the best hotel or B&B my wife and I have ever stayed at. From now on, this is where we plan to stay when we're in Temecula. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

Richard and Chris made us feel right at home, and shared loads of history about the location. It was such a special experience. Richard cooked eggs for breakfast from one of their chickens, and Chris had baked wonderful muffins for us. Before we headed out, Richard offered to take a photo of us in front of the Emigrant Office, something we'll treasure. We'd found The Hotel Temecula by chance while visiting Old Town Temecula for a show at The Merc. It was right across the street from The Theater, and the website sounded interesting. It felt like a top notch bed and breakfast, with so much more to it. Can't wait to visit The Hotel Temecula again!

The Grand Opening at Ford & Elm and The Petal Bar was a lot of fun. There was music, catered appetizers, photo ops, and an artist making hand-cut silhouette profile portraits. The shops are cute, with home decor, gifts, and flowers. Local business owners are the nicest, friendliest, hardworking people, and they do their best to make shopping at their Old Town Temecula location a nice experience.
