The location is the main reason I'd stay again. It's right by ASU, with lots of stores and restaurants close enough to walk to. Parking was plentiful in the garage shared with nearby businesses, and it cost $16/night. I could hear a rail or train near my room, though I'm not sure what it was, and it didn't bother me. I was here for work a few days ago. The room was okay, with no carpet in the main area, which I liked since hotel carpet creeps me out. The bathroom could've been cleaner: the toilet knots weren't cleaned and the tub wasn't the cleanest, though nothing was filthy. It may need updating. I bring my own cleaning supplies anyway. Breakfast was free and just okay, but as a vegan I found it hard to eat much.

The included breakfast was a nice surprise. We planned to try a local restaurant, but the spread looked good enough that we ate at the hotel instead. Our room faced east and was quiet, with a comfortable bed and room. Parking was fairly close, $16/night, and allowed in-and-out access. We had a great stay.

The room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful, and the view was amazing. What really made the stay stand out was Will at the front desk. His friendly, outstanding service is what convinced me to book. He was dealing with computer problems that weren't his fault, and was on crutches too, but stayed patient, professional, and genuinely kind. He kept smiling through it all. That kind of positivity and grace is rare. Hyatt is lucky to have him. Give him a raise!

The fifth-floor hallway carpet was in rough shape, with obvious stains, and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed lately. We could also hear a little noise from the nearby tram or bus service in our room. Still, we had a very pleasant stay at this Hyatt Place in Tempe. Nae at the front desk was welcoming, polite, kind, and really made us feel looked after from arrival. The location is right in the heart of Tempe and close to everything, which made getting around easy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, with no problems. We'd consider coming back, especially because of Nae's excellent service.

Nesha made my stay smooth and memorable with her knowledge, efficiency, and welcoming manner. My check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM, but she arranged an early check-in before 11:00 AM, which made a real difference to my day. At Hyatt Place Tempe / Phoenix / University, she greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and stood out for her professionalism. I really appreciate the effort. If this is the standard here, they're doing things right, and I highly recommend the hotel.
