Quality Inn Hotel

After a recent nightmare at another hotel near Phoenix airport, I wanted to give this Hampton Inn the five-star review it deserves. I stayed here about a year ago, and I still remember how clean and well-kept the rooms were. The Hampton Bed was quiet and comfortable, a welcome place to rest. Parking was included and straightforward, with none of the third-party QR-code fees I've run into elsewhere. The hot breakfast was genuinely hot and well stocked, and the staff were professional and welcoming from arrival through checkout. The location also works well for an early flight from Sky Harbor, while being far enough from the airport edge to avoid its industrial grit and noise. It's a safe, clean, hassle-free airport stay.

Breakfast was decent, and the rooms were fairly clean, though not spotless. The property needs renovation, and the soundproofing is poor. My airport pickup was messed up, and the ride back to the airport was late too. Even after completing digital check-in and checking my identity in person, neither key worked, so I had to return to the front desk. Karen at reception was overly chatty and familiar without being very helpful. Gaby, I think, who was on the morning shift, was much more pleasant and attentive. The driver also seemed grumpy and annoyed. I've since seen reviews mentioning bed bugs, which the property seems to dismiss.

The noise was the main problem. I told them in the morning that I'd been awake all night, with cars sounding like they might come straight through the window and into my bed. It was bad enough that I considered sleeping in the bathtub. Ditto to the review below about the soundproofing. There's apparently no quiet side of the hotel. I called ahead asking for a quiet room, but they all face a highway, a road, or, apparently, a factory. The elevator had been sprayed with synthetic industrial cleaner that seemed toxic. The front desk staff weren't terrible, just not especially helpful. Someone did bring an air purifier for my room, which was helpful, but it didn't solve the outside noise. The shuttle driver was really kind, even though I had my own car and he was just around helping the staff. He was the best part of my stay, lol. Hope the feedback helps!

The receptionist was very friendly, and I appreciated the free airport pickup shuttle. The room was clean, with fresh sheets, a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom and a great view. Breakfast was good, and there were vending machines for drinks and snacks, plus free coffee all day and night. I loved my stay and would definitely come back to the area. Thanks!
