Vīb Hotel by Best Western Phoenix - Tempe

Even with busy activity outside, I could actually relax here, which is unusual for me in a downtown hotel. It's clean, and the staff's upbeat attitude made a big difference. Bobby in the restaurant knew the menu well and was helpful with choices. He recommended and upsold items when he could, while also paying attention to guests' dietary restrictions. You don't often see that kind of service at a chain hotel. I also chatted in the elevator with a woman who might have been the head of housekeeping, Starla or Darla. She was welcoming and kind, and told us to ask for her if we needed anything. When my husband booked this hotel in the Heart of Tempe, I appreciated it, but I'm especially glad we stayed because of the staff.

The room layout was a little different, with the bed set away from the wall against a divider that doubled as a bar and desk. It worked fine. The hotel feels much more upscale than an old Best Western, with a modern look, a lobby, and a rooftop bar. Staff were very friendly, and downtown Tempe is right nearby, with plenty of restaurants and shops you can walk to.

Ashley turned around a travel day that had been unbelievably rough. She was so kind and caring, and helped when I needed it most. I'm incredibly grateful to her. The hotel itself is clean and really nice, with comfortable beds, and I loved the eggs Benedict breakfast sandwich. The staff was the best. I'd travel back to AZ just to stay here, and I can't recommend it enough. Ashley, thank you again. You were a Godsend!

I'm in town for a big race, and Ashley made the whole stay feel smooth and stress-free. She handled every question right away and was helpful, welcoming, and kind from the moment I arrived.
