Days Inn Temple

Pravesh was a friendly, engaging person to have at checkout, and his positive attitude was a lovely way to end the visit. The service was excellent throughout. Our room and the facilities felt fresh, updated, and well cared for, and it was clear they’d been remodeled recently. We had a very clean, comfortable stay at Days Inn by Wyndham in Temple, Texas, and would happily return.

Prav was so friendly and helpful when we spoke on the phone. The interaction felt refreshingly genuine and human. We also found the location convenient, with lots of places just a short drive away, and it was quiet at night. The room was clean when we arrived, better than I expected, and everything worked perfectly. A comfortable stay, and I’d come back.

The clerk was cheerful and helpful, and the room was clean. Still, I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known what to expect. There’s no breakfast, just coffee and a granola bar, so buying breakfast each day added a financial burden. I hung a do not disturb sign, but housekeeping came into my room while I was out, which I really disliked. The pool is closed seasonally, and the ice machine is outside, so getting ice in cold, rainy weather is a hassle. There are no elevators, so I had to haul my 60-pound suitcase up and down the stairs. It’s a two-story building, at least. I wish the website had mentioned these things.

I was passing through and stopped to check in because my car was having problems. They took me without an advance reservation and referred me to a mechanic who had me back on the road two days later. The staff were professional and respectful, and the coffee in the morning was freshly brewed and great. And the cutie at the front desk. Pheeew. I definitely recommend it.
