I keep coming back to LA Posada, and being right in the ghost town is a big part of why. Restaurants, art galleries, shops, and that amazing cemetery are all an easy walk away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with their own quirky, fun character. There’s a big patio for watching the sunrise and an outdoor kitchen if you feel like making dinner. I absolutely love this place.
The views from the front porch are fantastic, and the place is quiet, pleasant, clean, and well cared for. We’ve stayed in places all over the world, and this one still stands out as our number one. It feels like a beautiful, comfortable retreat in ole Mexico. I could keep going, but you really have to experience it yourself. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
The hosts are kind and accommodating, and the cute rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views over Terlingua are the most stunning I’ve seen. If you need a venue for a wedding or another celebration, this is the spot.
On my fifth trip to Terlingua, I finally stayed at La Posada Milagro Guesthouse, and it was easily the best place we’ve stayed. The view, courtyards, nearby town, bathrooms, and thoughtful touches in the room were all amazing. I don’t think we’ll stay anywhere else now. Our instruction email landed in spam, but Sandy answered right away when we called and talked us through check-in. I can’t recommend the place enough.
Everything the ghost town has to offer is within walking distance, and the location comes with great views. The owner has been a family friend for a long time, and we love her place. It’s a great way to get an authentic feel for Terlingua and the desert.
