OYO Hotel Texarkana Trinity AR Hwy I-30

Both rooms smelled awful and were dark, with cable wires sticking out of the walls. The first was so bad that I asked to see another, but the second was just as bad, maybe worse. Avoid this place.

I paid $115 for three days, but left after only a couple of hours because I couldn't have my kids staying in a room with bedbugs and roaches. The manager wouldn't move me or approve a refund through Expedia, so I lost the money. I can't afford to waste it like that. Never again.

The room had roaches, and after every workday I came back to find someone had turned off the AC, leaving it hot. The towels and sheets were dirty too. I won't stay there again.

The room was filthy and falling apart. The bathroom looked uncleaned, the carpet was pulled halfway up, the bedding was full of burn holes, and the mattress springs stabbed me when I sat down. There wasn't even a phone to call the front desk or outside numbers. I think that's illegal. For what you get, the price is too high. A smoking room costs $10 extra, and they charge a fee for late checkout as well as for checking out early. Getting checked in was a mess too. I waited half an hour while an elderly man with very limited, broken English was the only person there. He waved me back inside when I was about to wait in my car, but then just told me to keep waiting. The customer service was awful. I would never recommend this hotel.
