Breakfast is the one thing I'd improve. It's very basic. I stayed for a night before catching my cruise in Galveston the next day, and the location was excellent, quiet, and not far from I45. My room faced outside and had a small balcony. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were polite, courteous, and helpful. I'd recommend it to everyone.

We chose this place for the night before our cruise because the map made the location look good, but the area didn't feel safe and I wouldn't stay again. Check-in was a mess: after several texts confirming our stay and completing online check-in, they said they had no reservation for us. They'd checked somebody else in under my name. The man at the desk was dressed very casually, didn't greet us, and then played dumb instead of taking responsibility. It left me worried about identity theft. There was a roach on its back, still moving, on the bathroom floor. When we returned from taking an Uber to dinner, the same employee was on his phone and didn't even look up. At breakfast, the juice machine's water spout didn't work. The woman working there said we'd have to buy bottled water at the desk, so we got ice and poured hot water over it. They need serious customer service training and someone to show them how to run a hotel.

After just 10 hours in the room, all the clothes I'd packed for a two week cruise smelled musty. The room was hot and musty when we entered, and I couldn't sleep or feel comfortable there. The lobby was dark and musty too, and the key sleeve had clearly been used before. The blow dryer had been torn off the wall, the shower shampoo dispenser was empty, and there was blood on the side of the mattress cover. The remote batteries were dead, and the kitchenette had no supplies except a large butcher knife. The door's security lock had previously been kicked in. From entering the lobby through checkout, the property was far below standard. There were hardly any cars in the lot, which I can understand. I reported it to Wyndham, expecting them to take action, but they only said they'd pass the information along. I suggested they inspect the property themselves. I can't imagine wanting this place associated with their name. I hoped for a refund, but haven't received one. Do yourself a favor and find another hotel, or sleep in your car.

We booked two nights but left after the first. The noise was really high, and if my wife and I hadn't been exhausted, we wouldn't have stayed that first night. There was trash in the room, including a pizza box with someone's moldy pizza. The toilet seat was broken and the remote had no back on it. The fish tank by the entrance was gross, as you can see in the picture. The place is a dump.

The whole hotel has a strange smell, and the rooms need work. Breakfast was the worst thing I've had since boot camp: expired creamer, nasty eggs, and sausage that wasn't cooked properly. I tried to buy a coffee drink at the front desk, only to be told that was expired too. Absolutely disgusting.
