Check-in went smoothly, and the place felt safe. The rooms have been remodeled, and you can see the care that's gone into the hotel. It's budget friendly, though being next to a highway can get annoying.

The beds were huge and comfortable, and the hotel looked new and really updated. But we found out the room had bed bugs, and the TV didn't work. They had told us about the TV. I think our room was 119.

We booked through booking, and when my wife and I arrived, I told the woman at the desk I wanted to add another night. They charged me $111 for it. Once we got to the room, the smell was awful, and then we found bugs. We packed up right away, returned to the front desk, and asked for a refund. The manager refused to return the $111 even though we'd left immediately. I'm still trying to get reimbursed. The manager was nowhere near professional. Stay far away!

I was in Texas City on business during a severe snowstorm and booked online without knowing anything about the motel. The room turned out to be clean, comfortable, and pleasant. I'd recommend the two-king room for a family of four.
