Hampton Inn & Suites Lady Lake/The Villages

The staff here lift our spirits after stressful days visiting my ailing parents. Youlando always greets us with a smile and is ready to help, Nancy and Jill make sure breakfast is delicious, and Tammy keeps our room just right. My husband and I have been regular guests over the past few months, and every visit has been enjoyable. We once failed to plan ahead and had to stay somewhere else because this hotel was booked. Never again. It’s consistently clean and the staff are so friendly.

We needed an extra luggage rack for our suitcases, and there wasn’t one. In accessible room 134, the shower products were on the wrong wall and there was no grab bar in front of the person showering. I reported these issues to management and maintenance. The staff were pleasant, cooperative, and proactive, and said they would take care of it.

The digital key worked on the room door but wouldn’t open the outside entrance. Hallway noise was loud, with little to block sound under the door. I stay at Hampton Inns often, and this was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve had over the years.

The shower floor was extremely slippery, and someone could fall. I also found ants crawling on the nightstand, desk, and in the bed. The room’s AC never got very cold. Staff were friendly and the location was good. Breakfast was okay on most days, but on the last morning everything was cold, including the eggs and sausage, which wasn’t good or food-safe.
